Patient Safety Final Report - Spring 2021 Cycle 

The National Quality Forum’s (NQF) portfolio of Patient Safety Measures targets various aspects of patient safety across healthcare settings. During the spring 2021 measure evaluation cycle, the Patient Safety Standing Committee evaluated two newly submitted measures and four measures undergoing maintenance endorsement review against NQF’s standard evaluation criteria. These measures focused on sepsis, pressure ulcers, falls, radiology, and medication use. Six measures were endorsed by the Standing Committee and the Consensus Standards Approval Committee (CSAC) in this cycle of work.
