Surgery Final Report - Fall 2017 Cycle 

Millions of Americans undergo surgical procedures each year, and the rate of surgical procedures is increasing annually. Surgery is a daunting prospect for patients, who are increasingly seeking information from publicly reported quality measures to make decisions about surgical care. On February 1 and 6, 2018, NQF convened the Surgery Standing Committee to evaluate one endorsed maintenance measures and two new measures and make recommendations for NQF endorsement. All three measures were endorsed.
