Patient Safety Measures Complications - Phase 2 

The second phase of Patient Safety Measures - Complications Endorsement Maintenance project focused on falls, pressure ulcers, healthcare associated infections, and mortality.  It’s estimated that preventable errors cost the United States $17-$29 billion per year in healthcare expenses, lost worker productivity, and disability. Proactively addressing medical errors and improving patient safety will protect patients from harm and lead to more affordable, effective, and equitable care.
