NQF Statement on Federal Government Funding Extension 

We applaud Congress for their bipartisan support and commitment to reauthorization of funding for the National Quality Forum (NQF) as part of the “Continuing Appropriations Act, 2020, and Health Extenders Act of 2019 (H.R. 4378).” This bipartisan initiative will sustain funding for federal quality efforts through November 21, allowing us to continue to implement quality strategies to drive measurable health improvements in America.

We commend Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Leader Kevin McCarthy for their bipartisan leadership and efforts toward achieving quality healthcare for all.
