A Conversation with the National Quality Forum Action Team on Person-Centered Medication Safety

Please join NQF’s Action Team on Person-Centered Medication Safety for a webinar on Thursday, November 4, from 3:00 – 4:00pm ET. Action Team members will discuss leading practices and recommendations to advance medication safety across the continuum of care. In addition, the Action Team will launch and discuss the Action Team on Person-Centered Medication Safety Issue Brief which seeks to inspire action in the healthcare field by highlighting key themes and opportunities stemming from the Action Team discussions.
During the webinar, the Action Team will highlight how healthcare organizations, community partners, patients, federal agencies, and other stakeholders can collaborate and take action to improve medication safety. Speakers will discuss opportunities to:
- Build an Accurate, Beneficial, and Comprehensive Medication List
- Provide Clear, Readable, and Understandable Medication Instructions
- Educate and Empower Patients and Caregivers to be Partners in Their Care
- Prioritize and Invest in Person-Centered Medication Safety
