MHMC’s website, www.getbettermaine.org, gives consumers access to provider and hospital ratings, which has reduced healthcare costs and improved quality of care for people in Maine. The organization has played a leading role in healthcare quality measurement and public reporting, both in Maine and nationally, since 1991. NQF spoke recently with MHMC’s former CEO, Andrew Webber, about the coalition’s work and the award.
