This report builds on the Institute of Medicine’s 2003 report, Priority Areas for National Action: Transforming Health Care Quality, and presents the 23 NQF-endorsed™ priorities for healthcare quality measurement and reporting across the continuum of care. The priorities are organized 2 infrastructure priorities, 5 process of care priorities, and 15 healthcare condition priorities, with 1 overarching, highest priority across all areas—reducing disparities in health and healthcare quality in vulnerable populations.
