Senior Accountant

The National Quality Forum is seeking a Senior Accountant that will report to the Finance Director. This position will perform and assist with high-level accounting transactions such as budgeting, month-end close tasks, production of financial reports, day-to-day accounting tasks, and various accounting duties such as providing staff with financial reporting assistance.

Responsibilities include conducting various financial reports, assisting with preparation of budgets for proposed projects and financial reports for funding organizations; maintaining budgets; coordinating month-end account reconciliations and variance analysis; reviews work product of Staff Accountant and A/P Manager; serves as budget liaison for departments, prepares budget summaries and reports, and assist with the development of Dashboard and prepares periodic reports.

Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 3-5 years of accounting experience; CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Familiarity with GAAP, Deltek, Excel and project accounting experience required; non-profit experience preferred. Strong communication skills, superior professionalism, judgment and integrity are a must.
