Managing Director, Performance Measures

The Managing Director for Performance Measurement is responsible for strategic oversight and execution of NQF consensus development projects. The Managing Director is a primary point of contact for performance measures, including measures, practices, and frameworks for all Consensus Development Projects.

The Managing Director will provide direct oversight for NQF Consensus Development Projects, including project management to ensure quality and efficient delivery of key deliverables. Support education and outreach projects related to consensus development projects and performance measurement and support organizational improvement and enhancement groups and activities such as organization scorecard development and implementation and website redesign. The incumbent will also present NQF projects, mission and goals at outside meetings, including staff support to quality alliances and participate in development of organizational policies and procedures. Serve as supervisory lead for areas of content expertise, including high impact areas such as patient safety, claims-based measurement, and patient experience of care. The Managing Director will provide staff supervision in the Performance Measures Department with planning and implementation of consensus development projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements include a minimum of 10 years of quality and patient-safety related experience required. Specific experience in developing, implementing and reporting quality and patient safety measures required.
Health care professional, physician or nurse with advanced nursing degree required (doctorate in public health or related degree preferred). Strong supervisory experience and project management skills, with attention to detail are essential.
